Menagesha Forest, 35 km West of Addis Ababa, is a home of some Ethiopian indigenous birds like Black Winged Lovebird, Blue winged Goose, and Watt led Ibis, Rougets Rail and others. The forest is also a habitat for various large mammals but it is mainly reserved for endangered species of Menelike bush-duck.

The Wonchi Crater Lake is located in a four hour drive from Addis Ababa near a town called Ambo and has a fantastic natural landscape and ancient church on the island.

For tourists interested in visiting places that grow forest coffee, western Ethiopia is the best answer. Western Ethiopia is mostly known for its good quality and test coffee plantation. Tourists can also visit the rich culture and life style of the Oromo people in places like Welega and Kaffa.

Another most important site in the region is Jimma which is one of the Ethiopia's three major coffee producing areas. Historically, this place served as the capital of many regional kingdoms. The 19th century palace of Aba Jifar II is a must visit palace in the town.

Gambela, is a region with a national park that protects some rare species of antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck, Roan antelope, zebra, bushbuck, Abyssinian reedbuck, warthog, hartebeest, hyena, lion and elephant, as well as numerous bird species.

Day 1: YOD Abyssinia Office, tour orientation, a welcome refreshment, check into a hotel. A city tour to Addis Ababa: National Museum, Ethnographic Museum of Addis Ababa University, Emperor Minelik's Palace, St. Raguel's Church (at Entoto Mountain), Merkato. Dinner

Day 2: Drive to Jimma. Lunch at Jimma. En route visit the Gibe River Valley. Lunch at Wolqite Check into a hotel. Later, visit Jimma Museum and King Abba Jiffar Place. Dinner.

Day 3: Drive to Mizan Tefari (213 Km from Jimma). En route visit traditional Kaffa house. Lunch at Bonga. Check into a hotel. Dinner

Day 4: Drive to Tulgit. On the way visit the Bebeka Coffee Plantation. You will have lunch in the bush. Camping at Tulgit. Dinner.

Day 5: Drive to Kibish. You will have lunch in the bush. Camping at Kibish. Later you will visit Surma village. Dinner.

Day 6: Driven back to Mizan Teferi. You will have lunch in the bush. Check into a hotel. Dinner

Day 7: Drive to Gambella. Lunch at Masha. Check into a hotel. Dinner

Day 10: Drive to Beadele. Lunch at Bedele. Check in to Bedele Brewery Factory Guest House. Later, you can visit the Bedele Brewery Factory. Dinner.

Day 11: Drive to Neqemt. Lunch at Neqemte. Check into a hotel. Later, you can visit the the Wallaga Cultural museum. Dinner.

Day 12: Drive to Ambo (202 Km from Neqemt). On the way visit the Guder Falls. Check into a hotel. Dinner.

Day 13: Drive to Addis Ababa via the Crater Lake of Wonchi. En route visit to the Crater Lake of Wonchi Village. Shopping souvenirs in Addis Ababa. Lunch at Woliso. A farewell dinner, transfer out to Bole International Airport.
